As a dancer at Universal Studios, I was given the opportunity on Saturday to dance alongside top recording artist Jason Derulo, a classic 90’s duo The Rembrandts, and the stars of the UK’s top TV show – Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway!
What an experience it truly was!
When they came to Universal a few months back, I hadn’t known of them nor their show – but quickly got a reality check as to just HOW big they are in the UK. Talking to one of the flight attendants there through the Virgin airlines sponsor, he told me how “Ant & Dec are like the UK’s sweethearts – we’ve seen them both grow up together.” That was so sweet and amazing how much love and support this show has!
Anyway, it was a long week of rehearsals dancing, twirling, and the occasional pumps, and scratches that come with the hard work of dance & partnering, and it was ALL worth it! I loved everyone on this project, and the iTV team was SO sweet! Karen, the choreographer – amazing – and always refreshing yet challenging to take direction from new eyes, talent and style out of my comfort zone (Salsa, Swing, and The Lindy Hop!). Our events, creative, and entertainment teams at Universal Studios is top notch!!! Seriously, SO PROUD to be a part of this and can’t wait for the next event to be a part of!
